Ilgarijiri confirmed for AIATSIS

The Ilgarijiri exhibition is now confirmed for the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies [AIATSIS], in Canberra, to be opened on Friday November 27.  Further details will be posted to the blog as they become available.

Ilgarijiri art to feature at ICRAR launch event

The International Centre for Radio Astronomy [ICRAR], a Joint Venture between Curtin University of Technology and The University of Western Australia, will be officially launched on September 1, by Western Australian Premier Colin Barnett and Treasurer Troy Buswell.  As part of the launch event, art from the Ilgarijiri project will be featured.

Ilgarijiri nominated for WA Science Award

The “Ilgarijiri – Things Belonging to the Sky” project has been nominated for a Western Australian Science Award – Science Outreach Program of the Year.  Finalists and winners are announced at a luncheon event on December 2.  Fingers crossed.
